The device measures the fuel level of a forklift as a percentage of the total quantity via a 10 LED bar-graph. Suitable for 9V-18V power supply. Capability for integration into all types of industrial machines requiring a fuel level indicator. Works with a mechanical analog fuel level sensor. Can be pre-calibrated for various types of analog fuel level sensors. Can be pre-configured to support a 0-60Ω sensor /Product code: FI-12-01-100/ and a 0-100Ω sensor /Product code: FI-12-01-65/.

Functional description

Supply voltage is applied on terminals “+” and “-”. The analog sensor that measures the fuel’s level is connected to terminals “M” and “-”. When supply voltage is applied the device boots up and enters a self-test procedure during which, every segment of the bar-graph lights up left-to-right and then turns off right-to-left. The procedure takes 4 seconds. After it is done with the self-test, the device begins measuring the fuel level and displays it on the bar-graph. If the connection to the sensor is absent – the device displays a running light from left-to-right and the right-to left with a single bar light up at a time.
