Through its integrated Wi-Fi connectivity, the "WHTC-E-WIFI" thermoregulator allows complete remote control and monitoring via smartphone from anywhere at any time. The device upgrades the previous "WHTC-E" model from the "WHTC" series while retaining all of its capabilities and specifications. Setting up and controlling the regulator can be done both manually and via Wi-Fi at any time. The device saves the last applied changes, regardless of which of the two methods was used.
Features
✓ Wi-Fi Module present for remote control and configuration;
✓ Minimalistic design (50x50mm), intended for direct replacement of a capillary thermoregulator, with no additional installation requirements;
✓ Precise measurement and temperature adjustment capability via potentiometer, on which a knob can be mounted;
✓ Configuration capability for easy adaptation to the respective water tank;
✓ Supports heaters up to and including 3kW;
✓ Higher level of safety, provided by the available protective modes;
✓ Protection of the heater in case of a lack of water;
✓ Overheat protection capability;
✓ More precise temperature measurement: highly accurate temperature sensors with a resolution of 0.1°C guarantee consistently accurate and reliable measurement throughout the water heater's operational lifetime;
✓ More accurate and stable temperature control: high-precision temperature setting option tailored to user preferences;
✓ Precise diagnostics: the device features a self-diagnostic mode to determine the cause of any fault. Fault codes are displayed via LED indication;

Device operation
The regulator has four operating modes::
Manual mode - In this mode, the temperature is set manually via the potentiometer and the heater switches on when the temperature drops below the configured operating hysteresis;
Antibacterial mode - An automatic periodic mode of forced heating designed to eliminate bacteria and microbes in the water tank;
Anti-freeze mode - The regulator maintains the lower configured temperature to prevent the water in the tank from freezing without unnecessary energy consumption;
Fault mode - An automatic mode that the device enters when a fault is detected. The regulator monitors a set of faults and stops the heater operation until the fault is resolved; the exact fault is indicated via the LED indicator;
The thermoregulator can be configured using a specialized configuration application, while a firmware update application is used to update the device's firmware and add new functionality.
WHTC-E-WIFI allows water heater temperature adjustment both remotely via a mobile application and manually from the device itself. The device features two separate LEDs indicating the last control method used. Each switch occurs automatically – with every manual adjustment via the knob or remote setting via the phone, the corresponding LED indicator lights up immediately to confirm the current mode. This makes the device's Wi-Fi functionality entirely optional, without requiring the user to use it.
Device firmware update
The Wi-Fi module of the WHTC-E-WIFI adds the capability to update the device's firmware either via a configuration cable for PC connection using the specialized "WHTC Updater" application, or directly through the Wi-Fi application.
